Let's Decide on a Perpetual Plaque

So, I need to get busy on this project of doing several things for the Phyllis Frye Advocacy Award

1. Purchase two perpetual plaques that honor the awardee each year. One of these will go to Phyllis, the other would be displaed in the Texas A&M GLBTRC
2. Create this site or another where we mention and honor past awardees
3. Add a page to an honorary site explaining the history of the plaque.

So, in an effort to make headway on that, I have opened this blogspace to allow us to begin those aspects of the project. To that end, I would encourage some discussion through the comment feature below this blog and via the poll to the right to pick a plaque and begin this process.

I recently did some research on a perpetual plaque for the Aggie Allies Rainbow Award, and so repeat some of that information here for discussion. It seems to me that our first order of business is to select and secure funding for two perpetual plaques.

Price listed includes initial engraving, price per tag varies between 6.95 to 9.95 per tag based on the size of the tag.
